Previously known as FranCOSS (Council of Social Services Franklin Inc), Community Networks Franklin is a member of Community Networks Aotearoa, which is the umbrella organisation for local community networks.
Our vision for Franklin country
Our vision is for a Franklin Community working together to maintain a socially just community within a sustainable environment.
Our mission is to speak out for Franklin’s community service providers and lead a transition to a local economy that is focused on people, nature and prosperity for all.
We will achieve this by:
– increasing our community’s awareness of community service providers in Franklin
– offering networking and professional development opportunities for the members
– providing a hub for agencies to disseminate information, workshops and activities
– this transition may be enabled from a peer to peer (P2P) approach to social relations.
